thanks for the advice. i actually meant filling AROUND the bottles (between the necks, so they don´t move), not filling the bottles! What I really wanted to know is if using bottles in the floor would be a effective way to insulate or if I am better off using light-straw-clay as shown in the Steen´s book "Earthen Floors" Rikki
