RE: [Strawbale] Concrete Base - foundations question??
A practical point-
I have seen horsed kick through wooden boards. You may find
it helpful to have a look at the wear and scuff marks on the
walls of an existing stable; this may be a useful guide to
the height of your block work plinth.
Buckets get kicked around a lot so the plinth should be at
least 500mm high. After the first 100/200mm the plinth could
be ply. (or you could line the bottom of the inside wall
with ply)
