Subject: new light design software

Dear friends,


I'm glad to tell you that is now online the new version of the software that
revolutionised the way of optimizing the design of street lighting. It is
developed during his free time by CieloBuio's president Diego Bonata (former
winner of IDA Galileo Prize).
Here are some info on the new version of Save the Sky, now called Easy
Light - Save the Sky version 3.0.
This software is one of the simplest light design software to use, it is
free and may be the only one to optimize the design in all its aims,
allowing to perform spectacular savings. Trials and errors are no more
required to obtain an approximate optimization: the software performs it
automatically and FAST!



Easy Light 3.0 now has:
- Help in English, French and Italian
- Menu in four languages: Italian, English, French and Spanish
- It can read IESNA LM-63-1995 C photometry files and IESNA 91
- it uses EN 13201
- It can save in format .STS(design configuration) and .ST1 (eulumdat)
- print options
-above all: more than 3600 photometry curves are available from 15 fixtures
producers and distributors. We thank them for their collaboration in giving
us the files.

And, please, verify that, even with the hard European norm on uniformity,
it is possible to put fixtures at more than five times the pole height with
