I don't think anyone knows how many strawbale buildings there are in the UK
or Ireland. I have been involved in about 40 different ones, and I'd guess
there are at least 30 others. Most of these, of course, are not homes.
They're massage rooms, meditation centres, disabled access toilets, offices,
studios and workshops! In Southern Ireland I think there are 7, and they're
all homes. In Northern Ireland I think there are 3, which are not homes.In
the UK perhaps 6 or 7 are homes.
When I have the time I'll count up exactly how many I've helped with, and
put them on Bill Christensen's new data base.......
