[Strawbale] Wooden Stove & Windows Insulation

i HAVE  used natural, unwashed sheep's wool as roof insulation with excelent 
results so far (2 years).  I did treat the wool with Borax salts for added 
protection.  Since the wool was unwashed, it was enough to spread the dry 
salt on top of the wool--it sticks to the lanoline.  If you use washed wool, 
you will have to disolve the salt in water and spray it on.
