Try a couple of these ideas for your foundations.  My favourite is
recyceld piers, bearers and joists, you can load up a rendered straw
bale home on piers, bearers and joists, just get the spacings right in
combination with the size of timbers.  I like recycled railway sleepers
as piers as well as recycled shearing shed poles.
