Dear André,
As I read yor message, I remembered my unsuccessful attempts to get in
contact with Samuel Courgey. May be for him it is question of language
(see below).

So: Is there any english and french speaking person out there, who will
support our exchange about the french activities about the european
technical approval (ETA) of strawbales? During the ISBBC Tom Rijven
explained that Samuel Courgey has initiated a french programm to get
this approval. I've sent him two emails- as you see below, he answered
once with a promise to get in touch with me, but he didn't wrote
anything about his activities yet.

I think it is very important to talk about the different possibilities
of applying an approval- for example the question what kind of surface
we want to have permitted, is it clay, is it lime or is it plywood...?
As I heard there are people in france, who only want to have lime
plaster on european permitted strawbale houses. In my eyes, it would be
a pity, if the result will be an ETA, where clay plaster is excluted,
also knowing that it will be a great task to proove, that clay plaster
is working as a safe, waterproof surface.

Dear Samuel Courgey!
I'm a german architect and strawbale builder and I also represent the
german strawbale association fsb (www.fasba.de). In this moment we're
working on a national and european approval of strawbales (ETA). I heard
that you are working on the ETA too, so I would be very happy to get in
contact with you and exchange informations. Unfortunately I don't speak
french, excuse me. Do you speak english or german? If not, is there a
person who could help us exchanging informations, or translating?

I'm in contact with the austrian people, who did a lot of tests for the
ETA.

Please lets work together!

Greetings,
