[Strawbale] Who wants to visit us?

Hi everybody, who wants to visit the Costa Brava (Palafrugell - Begur) Girona in Summer? We need volunteers to help us in our "huerto"(market garden?). We started 1 year ago to reorganisate a piece of land with permacultural aspects and like every beginner, we need help. In future we also want to build there a strawbale house (now we started to build a round house of 20sqm for our lucky chicken. We only can offer free sleeping in a tent (we hope we can afford to buy soon a tipi) and dinner/supper, etc.We thougt of 4 hours/day working. Weekends free.

Hi Mary,

we're building a 20sqm big round-house (for our lucky chickens), but I don't know if you would like to build it with the post and beams structure or in Nebraska-style. In GB you can buy a very nice book called " The low impact round house" by Tony Wrench. It's about 9-10pounds. You can fill then with straw-bales instead of other materials he uses for his round house.I hope this helped you. Maren
