Viewers to UK TV may remember a Grand Designs programme about the house 
built by Ben Law in his own woodland; a timber cruck framed SB house, using 
timber and earth sourced from his own land, and built entirely by the hands of 
himself and a few friends.

He has been promising to published a book about it ever since, and it is finally 
here, http://www.permaculture.co.uk/PP/whats_new.html#Anchor6 . It is reviewed 
in the current Permaculture Magazine, which describes it as "...pornography for 
natural builders"!

I see he is also planning to have an open day in October, for which people are
