Hi Dirk,
Samuel is indeed the guy in France who deals with this kind of issues. He worked on a project for social housing (one SB and one lime/hemp) that needed several tests. He also is proffesionnally educated so he knows the 'official language' to apply and who to contact.
He's quite bussy at the moment but should have more time from jan. onwards.
Personnally I'm all for mud plaster with lime plaster/limewhash or that new stuff Tom raves about for waterproofing. If 'Fachwerk' houses are holding up for several centuries all over Europe it should be easy to prove that this is an interesting option. Then again this might be considered an historic rather than contemporary option.
But I have neither the knowledge nor the time to be involved in a european program on this subject.
I know of no one other than Samuel that could play this role. But I'll keep your request in mind. Samuels phone no. 00 33 (0)84378474
Keep up your good work and please keep me posted on anything that happens on this subject.
ciao,
André
