[Strawbale] wool insulation

Greetings Harald,
I have been following the debate on wool insulation with interest and it strikes me that we should really listen to the voice of experience on matters such as this and not just theorise unnecessarily!
You wrote some time back that a friend of yours had used wool treated with borax ten years ago, surely his insights on wool insulation would be based on ten years of living with this method and much more valuable than others who have not. You must have been convinced of the soundness of the method to use it yourself.
Would it be possible to ask your friend for a ten years on update of performance?
