Dear Andre,
I think you should spent some time with
experienced building engineer(s). Very often, they sound as rough, loud and
harsh people, but if you knew them better, you will learn that is a habbit
from working environment as building sites usually are.
Also, I think that every building engineer was in
position to 'Invent the wheel' at least once per year, it doesn't matter if he
was responsible for some forrest cottage or a new 7+ stars
hotel.
In most cases, besides the building
physics, they are dealing with forces of nature of any kind,
deadlines, costs over the budget, and lot of other impacts which, when come to
an end, finishes with their signature and stamp.
In my case, first megaphone I bought 15 years ago
was stolen from the site in a minutes after leaving my hand, so I learned to be
very loud, using combination of nazal sounds and a lot of air from my
lungs, just to be heard. As a time passed by, the technology run
over that solution of mine.
Then I discovered psychology and learned that, in order to be heard, it is not of most
importance to be loud.
So, there is not a lot of room left for the best
behaviour when I decide to make a point with a few words, when I see/read what
individuals are ready to do.
Understanding of those acts are reserved for God,
not for a responsible home owner, builder or engineer.
I am trully sorry if my
