you may want to check out the Canelo Project web page (I don´t know the 
exact adress, but it shouldn´t be hard to find through google). The Canelo 
Project is a project building SB houses in Mexico for low income women 
(mostlly) and is run by Bill and Atheen Steen, authors of "The Straw Bale 
House" .
