We are very close to having online subscription and back issues ordering for TLS - January, I hope. This means that people can subscribe for 4 issues (one year) or purchase back issues #41 through the current issue by going online, filling out a form on our web site (www.thelaststraw.org) and using PayPal to pay by credit card. The cost will be $22 USD - considerably less than the $36 for the published/mailed version. Once the order is place, you will be given a password to access the issue(s) you pay for. The online version can be read on the computer or can be printed out (one copy per subscriber) as single sheets (not bound) which can be filed in a 3-ring notebook. The online versions will have color photographs (when available). The intent is to increase access for everyone by making the issues we have published (#41 through whatever the current issue is)  available through the web site at a reduced price.

Here is the email regarding the TLS CD availability. 

The long-awaited CD-Rom of the first ten years of The Last Straw journal
will be shipped late in December to those who have already placed orders on
a first ordered/first shipped basis.

The searchable CD includes articles and features of  issues No. 1 through
No. 40 of The Last Straw, the international quarterly journal of strawbale
and natural building. The CD can be used on both PC and Mac formats.

To place an order, please go to the TLS web site www.thelaststraw.org and
click on Back Issues and CD-Rom where you will find an order form. You can
fax the form to 402.483.5161 or mail to GPFS/TLS, PO Box 22706, Lincoln NE
68542-2706 USA or call the TLS Office in Lincoln, Nebraska, at 402.483.5135.

The cost including shipping/handling worldwide is $40 USD. Checks, Money
Orders and Credit Card payments are accepted.

Where did you try and post it? If it was to the Paja listserve, I believe you have to be a member to post.  Resend it to me and I will send it on.  I have already consulted the SSBN about subscribing to The Last StrawÅ see what they say. 



I received the posting on the strawbale listserve no problem, but since I get the digest version it isn´t easy to understand if you resend it.
