Hi! 
I don't know If I count as a "strawbale contact" since I have yet to build a
SB house(this means lots of book experience but no hands on exp.), but I
hope to start building mine in February in  a tiny mountain Village of
Llerida in Catalunya (NE Spain) and would love to get in touch with others
here. If we could get a Spanish SB ring together it would be great! Please
get in touch.  I speak fluent English and Spanish.

wir sind ein kleines Architektenbüro in Spanien und sind sehr daran
interessiert im Strohballesnlistserver aufgenommen zu werden. Wir
beschäftigen uns erst seit kurzem mit dieser Bauweise und wüssten gerne,
wo man sich in diesem Gebiet demnÄchst am Besten weiterbilden
(Workshops) könnte (in Europa).
Auch haben wir versucht die Web-Seite vom GSBN fündig zu machen, aber
leider ohne Erfolg, wir wÄren Ihnen sehr dankbar, wenn sie uns diese
geben könnten.
Wo soll das nächste Treffen stattfinden und wann?  Vielleicht könnten
auch wir dabei sein.

My name is Alison Kershaw, I am an artist and my partner is a massage
therapist. I recently learned of Straw bale building
through Amazobn Nails in England.
I would like to find out if there are any straw bale buildings in Spain
- in the South, Almeria Region (or anywhere else in Spain)
My goal is to build a house and a healing arts centre. This process fits in
with the dream of runniong a place which is sympathetic with creativity and
sustainability and importantly which could be built communaly and may be
affordable.
