I
think you can use standard "sisal" rope like they used here before for wiring
the strawbales and if you keep your walls dry, your rope will be dry also,
otherwise it will rot, but your bales will also. Personaly I will use
the plastic ones. If not influenced by UV (and I don't think so) they can
be recuperated (although I think they won't.)

think this won't help you very much but I was in the mood to write
something. I just lik the idea that we are working at our SB-home at the
same time, it's a pitty we don't live nearer, wo we could help each
other.
