RE: [magnitude6] antiLP amendment in Czechia did not pass Senate
Jan:
I say the same as Bob: don't abandon the ship. In my experience the
beginning is always hard, but it serves to learn what's been wrong, not to
repeat it the next time.
Profiting this fact, I also would like to know what do you all think about
to start translating our "national wars" against light pollution to the
European Parliament. Some years ago there has been an iniatitive from
England which did not succeed, I think. Now, from the approuvement of the
catalan law, I have very good contacts with politicians, and I'm sure it
will be easy to propose them to promote an european iniciative against light
pollution. This could help a lot, and now it's a good moment: europeans
countries are approuving Kyoto's protocol, Spain have the presidence, and so
on. Then, perhaps each one of you could do the same from your country, and
we'll have more strenght. Would you agree with it? Let me know your
opinions.
Pere.
