Re: [strawbale] list of all the tests

The EBNet testing program is just getting under way, we are haveing an
opening gatering this sunday and then we're off.

We are beginning with a whole seiries of earth plaster tests to narrow it
down to the two earth plasters that we will test on the medium scale (single
plastered bales, etc.) tests. We will be testing for Compression,
Elasticity, Modulus of Rupture, Shrinkage, and Erosion. with a few soil
types and various sands, fibers (types/volumes), and additives that we think
improve durability more than strength. we have a limited budget and scope
(ideally going deep into understanding rather than a wide range of general
info) but we have a ton of interests and will already be set up. so if there
are things youd like to know more about in earth plaster mixes please let me
know.

I will be in Europe from Mar 20- April 18 and Kelly Lerner will help the
Vital systems crew in doing most of the small scale tests while I'm gone. I
do intend to present the program and solicit input from you all at the ESBG,
as well as show some of our work here in California.

We don't expect to be complete until after October though Bruce has said he
will publish bits and pieces as we complete them on his web site.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you are all up to,

Tim
