Hallo Strawbalers
Of course we want to be democratic. I also agree
with the system. The meeting is importent, but also the possibility to see some
projects / buildings when you are visiting a place and a foreign country.
And will it be possible for somebody to arrange the
gathering ? The last question will probably be the most important.
For me all the allready suggested places will be
OK. I mean that you cannot only suggest a place or a country and hope that
somebody will do the job!
SO - if it is an activ groupe of people who will
arrange a gathering i Austria (or some other country) I agree to the idea of
making the gathering there.
I am a bit late of answering, among other things
because I got a virus on the pc (again), and of cause you never send a message
if you now you have a virus.
I have promised to send the norwegian list of
strawbale buildings. Its written in norwegian language so I have to translate
the most important words. I do not have the time just now, but it will come
soon.

Denmark 1999,
England 2000,
and a non existing one in
Slovenia in 2001.

next step: which of these

last step: when we have all
the networks, that want to make a gathering in the future, we are able to make
an election: each member of ESBN = everyone on strawbale-l@eyfa... elects 3
countries (3,2,1 points) he/she is interested to visit in the next years. the
country with the most points is invited to make a gathering next year, the
second one in two years and then there should be a new election (for
example).
this would guarantee a welldone planning and interesting
gatherings for the future. option: two or more networks work together to make
a gathering in one of the countries. but the "democratic" way would be the
same...
what do you say, wouldnīt it be a solution for our blocked
situation?
