I have all my life been an advid sky watcher. Besides pleanty of
shooting stars and familiar constellations I have also seen my share
of UFOs. But without getting into the paranormal I just want to say
that I have complained about light pollution for a while now, and
finally am ready to take an active stance in the campaign to reduce
and eliminate light pollution world-wide, starting with my own
community (wherever I might be living). I also have media connections
with The Miami Herald (Freelance journalist/photographer), and I plan
on covering the important issues surrounding light pollution whenever
I can. Anyhow, I am glad to be a part of this growing community, and
only have this to say:
"Hello darkness my old friend,
I've come to be with you again,
Because a vision softly creeping,
Left its seeds while I was sleeping,
And the vision that was planted in my brain,
Still remains,
Within the sound of silence."
