K poznamce o moznostech pozorovani dale od mest:

Asi neni stale jasne, ze nikdo neusiluje o moznost sledovat nocni oblohu v
plne kvalite nekde z centra mesta nebo i jeho okraje, ale rozumejte-svetelne
znecisteni se neprojevuje jen ve meste a v jeho blizkem okoli, ale take v
okruhu mnoha desitek kilometru kolem nej a to je dulezite. Krasnym prikladem

This photograph is by Anthony J. Cook at Griffith Observatory, California,
USA on 2002 April 2.15. It is a composite of a 10-minute exposure and a
3-minute exposure obtained with an Olympus 50mm lens at f 2.8 and Kodak
Tri-X film. The ion tail can be traced to about 13 degrees and the dust tail
about 5 degrees. M-31 is below and to the right of the comet's head, which
is about to set behind the 8500 foot summit of Mt. Pinos. The photo was
taken from Pyramid Lake in the Los Padres National Forest, California; about
80 miles north east of Los Angeles.
