<div>While some sort of balance is needed on this English-mostly list, I am opposed to language discrimination. English, and English-speaking countries have way too much power and influence, in my opinion. And in general, the majority of that power and influence
is employed to actively oppose to sustainability. I think it is a good thing, that we are all reminded that not everyone speaks English, and that not everything, all the time, needs to be arranged to make things easy and convenient for the English speakers.
People who speak other languages have as many good ideas and valuable contributions as anyone else, but their voice is frequently suppressed or lost in the sea of English. That is a loss for everyone. </div>

<div>Every message could be considered as spam by someone. But I would rather consider every message a sincere and welcome effort to promote sustainability to some subset of this group. I don't speak any slavic languages, but I didn't mind at all deleting
these recent messages. If I had wanted to, I could have used an online translator to get an idea of the content. </div>

<div>As a native English speaker, I would prefer for this list to be welcoming of multiple languages from time to time. Let's avoid exacerbating the linguistic oppression that is always in play to some extent, throughout the world. </div>
