I shall phrase my comments more carefully on such matters in future.</div><div><br></div><div>The builds I have been working on recently are not "commercial" houses in that they are effectively self builds for owner occupier use. </div><div><br></div><div>It is my intention to do my own build at some point in the near future (either in the UK or Australia ) and I am confident that such a house would be highly desirable on the open market if I needed to sell as it would rate as an A regarding Energy Performance
Certificate. Whilst I don't have any direct experience of Open Market sales, I am aware that a main financier of such mortgages would be the Ecology Building Society.
