<p><b>Natural Building workshop with Tom Rijven (base coat and natural finish on strawbale walls), 08. - 14. May 2010 </b><br /><br />Tom Rijven is well-known as an extraordinary teacher and author of straw-builder reference book "Between Earth and Straw". The course takes place in a large strawbale house, located in the beautiful setting of the Swiss Jura. You will be hosted by the ecovillage "Clos du Doubs", which will serve delicious local and organic food, made by our cook Luana with love and passion. Besides the practical part, Tom will provide you with a theoretical part that treats ramped earth tires as foundation as well as the construction with strawbales.
