[Strawbale] Strawbale Digest, Vol 37, Issue 2

Hey again,

This again varies depending on your location, like a regular building, I
would say as a general rule that the costs are the same like building a
regular house, the difference is that you get more for the same money in
terms on insulation, if you'd had to try and get the same R values building
"normally" you'd probably end up paying more than on SB house.

It all depends again - there is more labour involved especially if you mud
render, so if you do a lot on your own you can cut expenses cut down
significantly, but as in all houses bath room, windows, carpentry,
etc..which are expensive are the same you'd pay for a "regular" built house.

Hope it was helpful,

Amit
