[Strawbale] Chug ... and anyone else

Haven't been able to plaster the straw building since the weekend before 
last when you were down.

I want to put some more render on now and the previous (first) coat is well 
cured. How wet do I have to get it in order to apply another coat. What's 
the procedure?

PS anyone want to come to Guildford and do some plastering over the next few 
weeks? I provide good bread, soup and coffee  ...  :-)
