A couple of excellent examples and some rather bad ones

I was able to photograph during my trip from Brno to the Venice meeting ``Let's save the night'' and back (through Naples, Frosinone and Roma).

The set of images is available in several sizes: just the small images (495 KB) or table of larger images (2616 KB) (clicking on the image will bring the next larger size). There are also thubnail selectors for each directory, just 180 KB large: for the small, larger and ...x768 size images. The ...x768 ones have a thumbnail table selector as well.

The original 1600x1200 bitmaps (average size .62 MB) are available in the directory fullsize (just a directory listing), fullsize_i (with thumbnail table) or thumb (thumbnails).

The tree of images has been created by the original set of *.jpg file by a unix script fts and three other ones, see a directory scripts. Also a zipped archive of the tree without the original files has been made this way, all_tree.zip (17 MB).
