Maps for Globe at Night, Orion above SW horizon. Beginning of astronomic night (Sun at -18°), two hours after sunset at latitude 50°, when Orion's belt is at h=30°. Very clear air assumed (extinction in zenith just 0.2 mag), or a more turbid one for one set. Maps were computed using map.php in a directory two levels up, several rows within *.eps have been edited manually. 45-75.pdf and 45-75cz.pdf contain Sirius as well (important for finding Orion under very polluted skies).
